Alejandra Pizarnik nació en Buenos Aires, el 29 de Abril de 1936, en una familia de inmigrantes de europa oriental. Estudió filosofía y letras en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y, mas tarde, pintura con Juan Batlle Planas. Entre 1960 y 1964, Pizarnik vivió en París donde trabajó para la revista "Cuadernos" y algunas editoriales francesas, publicó poemas y críticas en varios diarios, tradujo a Antonin Artaud, Henri Michaux, Aimé Cesairé, e Yves Bonnefoy, y estudió historia de la religión y literatura francesa en la Sorbona. Luego de su retorno a Buenos Aires, Pizarnik publicó tres de sus principales volúmenes, "Los trabajos y las noches", "Extracción de la piedra de locura" y "El infierno musical", así como su trabajo en prosa "La condesa sangrienta". En 1969 recibió una beca Guggenheim, y en 1971 una Fullbright. El 25 de septiembre de 1972, mientras pasaba un fin de semana fuera de la clínica siquiátrica donde estaba internada, Pizarnik murió de una sobredosis intencional de seconal.

Y de pronto se me dispersaron las manos con los ojos en espiral
agarrandome del aroma a pasto que mi pelo suelta al descansar.
Fue entonces cuando comprendi que esta ciudad era muy pequeña

Debes estar obsesionado con una idea demente de la importancia del mezquino objeto de tus detestables y egoístas deseos. Se me ha acusado de ser "mago negro". No se ha hecho jamás afirmación más tonta sobre mí" ....

Edward Alexander (Aleister) Crowley (*12 de octubre de 1875 Leamington - 1 de diciembre de 1947 en Hastings) Fue un iniciado en temas esotéricos, novelista, poeta y ensayista.
A pesar de las persistentes afirmaciones de todo tipo de personas de que Aleister Crowley era un mago negro, esto es altamente discutible. Lo cierto es que el hombre que se hizo llamar de decenas de formas y eligió varios motes mágicos tuvo poco de mago negro.

Llegó a ser un célebre ocultista, conocido en los medios esotéricos como Baphomet, uno de los nombres mágicos que adoptó. Dos de sus obras más renombradas son: Magick in Theory and Practice (Magick en teoría y práctica) y el Liber AL vel Legis (‘El Libro de la Ley’).
También fue miembro honorífico de otras sociedades secretas y logias masónicas.
Crowley llamó Iluminismo Científico al sistema que desarrolló para la A:. A:. Para divulgar las enseñanzas del mismo publicó, con la ayuda de varios colaboradores, la serie de revistas llamadas "El Equinoccio" (THE EQUINOX). El lema del Iluminismo Científico es "El método de la Ciencia, el objetivo de la Religión". En este lema, conforme aclara el mismo Aleister Crowley, "(si se interpreta correctamente) está expresado todo".

Más tarde fundaría la Abadía de Thelema en la población de Cefalú en Sicilia. Una casa de campo remodelada y decorada por él mismo con frescos en las paredes, siguiendo la idea de Gauguin, a quien admiraba. En ella permaneció un tiempo junto a varios de sus seguidores, hasta que fueron expulsados de Italia por el gobierno de Mussolini debido sobre todo a la muerte de uno de sus discípulos, Raoul Loveday, que se intoxicó al beber agua contaminada, y al revuelo generado por Betty May, esposa de éste último.

La cultura thelémica fue un adelanto increíble para el tiempo de Crowley. Fue algo similar a lo que más tarde sería el movimiento hippie, con su mezcla de libertad sexual(Recordemos que Crowley solia apadrinar con especiales cuidados a sus concubinas ;Leilah Wadell la mas famosa de todas era un ejemplo de ello) , experimentación con todo tipo de drogas, meditación, mezcla de cultos orientales y occidentales, etc. Algunas de las razones por las que se lo consideraba a Crowley un hombre perverso eran su bisexualidad y la experimentación con drogas. Tengamos en cuenta que el principio del movimiento (muy minoritario) se produjo en la Gran Bretaña más puritana y retrógrada, durante la época de la Reina Victoria del Reino Unido.

Entre los que lo estudiaron a lo largo de su vida, y lo estudian también tras su muerte, hay varias sociedades que siguen sus enseñanzas. Podemos encontrar a gente como el pintor Austin Osman Spare que luego crearía, a su vez, el movimiento Zos Kia Cultus; el director de cine y escritor Hollywoodiense Kenneth Anger; así como Jimmy Page entre muchos .

Pero lo importante es que debieran aprender un pokito mas de este hombre un tanto sordido e incomprendido pero fascinante .

de raíces claramente ochenteras, a caballo entre el pop plúmbeo y existencialista de los ingleses Joy Division y Bauhaus y la vertiente más sucia del rock independiente americano de Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr o, sobre todo, Pearl Jam. También podemos señalar la influencia de los Pixies, en los neoyorkinos, principalmente en la manera de afrontar la creación musical.
